WHO YOU ARE
Fire in the Belly:
You are Driven towards success; you can’t wait to get up in the morning and get your day started. You have a competitive spirit that comes out in everything you do. You win with dignity and humbleness and when you lose it drives you to improve and you come back with even more passion for success.
You are Focused on the prize; you set goals and do whatever it takes to achieve them. You anticipate and plan for bumps in the road and are confident they will never slow you down. When unexpected roadblocks appear, you step back and find a new path to the goal. You know and believe that true success only comes by overcoming many failures and obstacles.
You have a Sense of Urgency, you believe Time is the most precious asset, putting off until tomorrow is not an option. You look for and create opportunities to work on important issues. Wasting time on non-value added or meaningless task, projects, and bureaucracy drives you crazy.
You are Not Afraid to Fail, you are not a reckless risk taker, but believe that you need to take calculated risk that push the envelope. Failing to try, is the worst failure of all and you will never progress beyond the status quo. If you’re not failing, you’re not trying hard enough.
You are a Strategic Thinker; you always have a game plan toward the company vision. You set goals, 1 year, 90 day and weekly and use these to guide your activity, continuously improving or modifying your game plan to achieve the goal, even as the world, people, equipment and market continually throw curve balls.
